Antibiotic prophylaxis against infective endocarditis
The Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programme (SDCEP) provides national guidance for dental teams. SDCEP is updating its Implementation Advice for dental teams related to the NICE Clinical Guideline 64 on Antibiotic prophylaxis against infective endocarditis.
As part of this update, a leaflet is being developed for patients that provides dental advice for people at high or moderate risk of infective endocarditis. We would like to invite members of the public to provide feedback on a draft of this leaflet by completing a short online feedback form.
